replacing destroyed internal memory chip

Hi, my internal memory chip has some partition issues which I couldn't fix softwarely. now is there any way to replace the memory chip itself? I know it's BGA, I just wanted to know if it's possible to bring it to the service center and tell them to just replace that and not the whole motherboard, also how much will it cost?

thanks a lot.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Without a doubt, I can tell you that soldering a new chip in place will certainly be far more difficult to accomplish than what the average technician can handle. For a device that was native to Android 2.3 I would recommend looking at the market for a new device more than anything.

I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I feel like it's the most realistic.
