Why is the basket on my Kenmore washer wobbly?
It doesn't make noise.

If your washer shakes or wobbles excessively during operation, the culprit may be your counterbalance spring. This spring connects the bottom of the basket (or tub) to the base of the washer. It can come undone, in which case you simply need to reattach it. If the spring is broken, then you'll have to source a new one. Once you have the new part, the fix should be fairly straightforward. This is a repair you can complete on your own with basic tools.
