Connector problem on iPhone

Hi,

I just change the glass on my iPhone 3GS but i broke the connector #3 on the mother board, so the ear speaker is not working. is there any solution. If i have to change the logic board do you know if the logic board is sim free ? And how much ?

I'm waiting for your prompt response thanks in advance.

did you break the connector or did you tear it off the logicboard ?

replacing it would be possible, as long as all (ok, almost all) contacts on the logic board are still there.

the needed part is sold on ebay, so getting it would not be a problem.

but fixing it is more for someone with smd soldering skills.

a new (or working) logicboard is normally not an option, it would cost mostly as much as a working phone.

there are factory unlocked iPhones out there - but getting a logic board of one of them....i think that those are hard to find

I broke the connector #3 on the logic board see this link : http://s2.guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/2L...

The little plastic part is out of the connector, it's so little that i cant replace it.

so the connector is still on the board nut you broke the black latch that holds the cable ?? if you still have it, you might find someone who is able to put it back together or, if it's gone - find someone who can replace the part. but as i wrote above - you will need someone with good soldering skills.where are you from ?
