Is my phone fixable?

Hi, I am in major need of help with my iPhone 4! I recently took it to Squaretek here in town, they sell/repair phones. When I took my iPhone in there, they called 30 minutes later saying there was nothing they could do and... The only reason I am going through all this trouble to get it to turn on is because I have lots of pictures & memories I would love to get off of it! But it may be too late...The battery connector cable is ripped off my battery and also the emi shield as far as I understand...Is there really no way I can get this fixed??

Really? Cause the guy at Squaretek told me in the first place it may just be the battery and need a new one..but then he said a part was "ripped" off that would cause the phone to never work again.

Or let me ask this do you maybe know what th guy is talking about? what piece could be ripped off to completely destroy it?

by

i think the ribbon cable of the battery is just destroyed . worst case scenario is you also pulled the battery connector from the logic board but that would be stil repairable..

by

Maybe that's what I did! SO what would I need to do to fix it?

by

Im going to send an image of the parts detached and missing

You can replace the whole logic board out of the phone that wont turn on and put it in a new iphone. You can search in the ifixit repair manuals under iphone 4 logic board replacement. Then your photos and videos and everything else will be on the new phone. Happy to help!

Update

Now i see whats wrong. All you need is a new battery. Easy fix! And very cheap, starting at $20
