Upgraded i3 to i7 870 cpu. Working but geekbench scores are low...

Hello, I upgraded my iMac 27 i3 cpu with an i7 870 per your guide and everything is working, however geekbench test scores are in the low 3000's for multicore and in 900's for single core. Any idea why?
