Can the LCD display be changed

I am curious as if the LCD can be swapped from the LM270WQ1 (SD) (B3) part number to the LM270WQ (SD) (A2) part number ?

Can you explain why you want to do this.

I have a busted LCD, and I can find the (A2) LCD's all over the place, but the (B3) ones I can only find a spare few and they want a lot of money for. SOOO, if I can use the OTHER monitor, I can have more options to repair with. - Matt

Matthew Friend, can you verify the last number? Is it a LM270WQ (SD) (A2) or a LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2)

It has a 1 in it

Matthew Friend, the LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2) and the LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2) are not compatible. The LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2) uses a 30 pin connector, whereas the LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2) uses a 40 pin connector. The wiring of the driver board to LCD etc is different. Check the datasheets for the different panels on here.
