Mike problem with I phone 4

My iphone 4 microphone doesnt work during calls.. I carried to a service centre n replaced it. But it didnt give me a solution for not more than 10 calls.. When i went n enquires again. He says hav to open up. Ice. N so n so. N would take 2 days. Can u help me explaining tis
