Replace Screen, Now screen remains black and is unrecognizable

I recently attempted an iPhone screen repair on my iPhone 5s after I shattered my screen. When I put the new screen in, I realized that the digitizer cable (I believe that is the horizontal one out of the three flex cable) didn't fit as well as the other two but it still seemed to be in place. The screen wouldn't turn on but when I plugged it into my laptop it was recognizable and would vibrate. I put my old screen back on, and had to same worry with the digitizer cable, but now the phone wont turn on and is unrecognizable. PLEASE HELP

Answer this question I have this problem too
