Settin up external dvd burner as default for HP dv6000
My dv6000 dvd burner is not working . i want to use an external dvd burner as default burner to install windows vista using recevory disk.

Unfortunately there is no USB CD/DVD boot option on the DV6000 laptops. Hard to believe that you can boot from USB floppy and HDD, but not optical drives, nice job HP. Here's a link to create a USB flash drive setup disk.
