LCD error after front panel replacement

I have successfully replaced the front panel. But now the LCD screen does not seem to work. The led's on the side of the LCD screen light up and the screen turns from black to light blue. It doesn't seem to work.

Have I wrecked my LCD in the process or have I forgot something?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Check your connectors for the LCD first, make are they are firmly in place. After that do a hard reset by holding the power and home buttons down simultaneously for 10 seconds.

Hard reset as stated above should work you have probably turned the iPad on when the lcd was out so it won't give you an image til you hard restart it
