Missing what I think is a Resistor but not sure exactly.

Ok so I have a water damaged IPhone 5c . I disassembled and cleaned with 99% alcohol but still nothing so i proceeded to remove the Metal shields where i found more corrosion which i cleaned with a brush and alcohol .

After cleaning i reassembled with a new battery . The phone shows no signs of life other than the board gets hot enough to burn in this area SHOWN IN BLACK .

Now i noticed that what looks like a resistor but is probably not was covered in corrosion and looked damaged and seemed to be the source of the heat. would burn finger when touched. So i successfully desoldered it and no more heat but still no life in the phone. I'm looking to find out what this part is called so i can get a replacement to see if it solves the issue.

Lets see if we can find the right component. If you can, measure the components physical size. That way we could find an equivalent package size. I'd try to check Murata's LQM2HPN2R2MGH and see if the dimensions would be workable. You doing okay with all the snow and bad weather?
