If the mobile phone doesn't respond to touch, the problem is the digitalizer in most cases.

LCD only shows image and digitalizer is the touch receptive part.

If you have good image on the phone but no touch, is definitely digitalizer. Maybe if you forced to much the ribbons it has been damaged.

What exactly have you replaced??

I replaced the lcd with the digitalizer. You are probably right, I was very cautios, but I could damage it. I went to one service place and told them what happen and thier technician will look at it and tell me more tommorow. So he will connect it right or he will have to grab a new one. but i will have to pay for the new one. and didnt know what to do with the "old " new one. So we will see.
