What is the distance between the ceiling and the blade? Anything less than 10-12 inches will only sound, if not anything else. I got a longer fan rod (double than the previous one that came with the fan) and the results are good.

Hey so I just searched everywhere but I fixed it by spinning the fan on the stand as if I was .. unscrewing it in half ? Lol but don't unscrew it all the way just until u feel the air blowing out

I had the same problem with a free standing fan. It was spinning but no air. I cleaned the blades from a slight film of dust, and it worked!! Who would have believed it. ?♀️
