DC Power Board Removed

I Took The DC Power Board Out Because Its Bad, Then I Put All Back Together Without DC Board. The Unit Does Not Power On ?. Does It Need Board In To Complete Circuit or Did I Screw Something Else Up ??. Unit Worked With A Charged Battery But Power Adapter Added Did Not Light Up

Frankly, I haven't tried running a system without the DC-In board connected so I can't say for certain if it will work or not.

But lets look at the part its not just translating the power to the logic board alone as it also has some components on it. So it's logical there is some level of load so the SMC can sense if the AC adapter is present or not.

I would recommend you get the needed part and see what happens after you put it in. If you still have problems its possible there is another problem.
