No other lights when I press the power on button

My first LED flickers slightly but is lit up when I plug in the Mac. No other lights when I press the power on button, no chime, nothing. Is this likely solvable by replacing the power supply unit?

Lets start off by identifying your hardware. what are the last four digits of your computers serial number. Besides checking the LED's what else have you tried? Did anything happen to your computer prior to this?

Philip Sneyd, that 1st LED is only an indicator that your power supply receives AC power. It does not verify that your power supply works properly. If there are issues with the 1st LED, verify that you have a good electrical outlet, good power cable and the you have a good connection between the AC inlet and the power supply. After that it goes back to having a bad power supply.
