What might be my problem?

I turned on my iMac, but suddenly a small cloud of smoke came out of the back of it. I turned it off straight away but now it doesn't turn back on again.

What might be the problem? How do I know if the part I need to replace is the power supply?

Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I think you'll need to do a bit more investigating here. A puff of smoke could be anything. Are you up to fixing your system? Or, are you wanting to know what it may cost and if this is the point you'll need to replace your system?

Smoke came from your pc unit most in case they are power supply issue, i am hoping that does not damage your main board unit. Specially power control chip set. However here is the guide "https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iMac+Intel+...
