Purchase fan standoff that is screwed into the logic board

When I was changing out the hard drive for my Mac Mini the stand off that is screwed into the logic board would not stay stuck to the logic board. I think I need 2 new ones for the 2 screws on the fan that screw into the stand offs. Where can i purchase the standoffs?

In the picture it is the silver standoff on the left side of the image.

Thanks

Sadly, these are press fitted in and are not a replaceable part from Apple.

Did you pull them off or are they just loose?

Make sure you didn't damage the logic board. You could try a small drop of Cyanoacrylate glue (a.k.a krazy glue) to try to lock the post from spinning.

I pulled it off when I was screwing the fan back in. If i put the standoff back in the slot it will stay unless i pull on it a little. The logic board is good, I put the fan back in and turned it on, and everything booted up and worked great.

Carefully coat the inside wall of the posts hole with the Cyano glue (get the slow curing gel version), and the area of the post that fits into the hole don't put to much you just want to wet the surface on the post (you have two textured surfaces the glue needs to span). Try not to get the glue on the surface areas. If you can get the some Acetone or nail polish remover you can soften the excess after it has dried.

Is it safe to use Krazy Glue on the logic board?

I appreciate all of your help!

Yes, it's safe. Just don't go crazy with the krazy glue ;-} Just around the stand off and the hole. Remember a little goes along way here.
