No sim after replacing HTC Desire 610 screen

Ok here is my issue. I have looked everyday that I could think to look but have not found the answer. I changed the screen on a HTC desire 610 AT&T and everything went great got the new screen in and turned the phone on and it responded to touch and worked perfectly! I work for a cell phone repair shop and this was a customers phone. So when they came in to pick up their phone I put her SIM Card in it and reset the phone. When it came back on it said no SIM card. And the really strange thing is if I eject the SIM card while the phone is on it comes up and says cannot detect SIM card. I have tried going through checking all cables and ribbons and nothing seems to fix the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

There is a little square plate that easily falls out. It goes between the sim card housing and screen. That might be your issue.
