phone works but screen is nonactive

I was at work repairing an umbrella on one of the gaurd stand at my pool when my iPhone fell out of my otter box holster and fell flat on its back. The screen fizzed black and gray but with no backlight. the screen is un cracked but remains inactive. my phone remains in good working condition if i use my headphones but the screen still remains blank. i can hear when i get text and calls. whats the problem?

I would open the iPhone as showed in the display assembly guide and check the display assemble connecors - it sounds like the screen connector needs to be realigned
