no power no start

Hi I have a Honda accord 1997 automatic 4 cylinder. Last night I was driving it then I stopped the engine and wnt to start it again and now it won't start unless I jump start it. I just replaced the battery about a month ago and the alternator about 2 months ago so I doubt its either of those and I just replace the battery fuse today. Any suggestions? Im really puzzeled by this.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Also, I forgot to mention that my car gets no power when I turn my key and the engine doesnt even crank. It doesn't even really make a sound

So it will start but you have to jump start it?

by

Yes. Otherwise it won't start at all. However, I did have to try to start it a few times when I jump started it

For now it sounds like you have a dead battery. See if you can use a battery charger to charge it, then you will have to check your charging circuit. Right now, unless you have a known good battery, any suggestion will only be a guess.

Alright thanks man. How would I check the charging circuit?

If you jump your car/battery and let it run for 30 min. Or so, the charge should stay inside the battery. If it doesn't stay charged your battery cells might be dying/dead. So you might want to buy a new batter for your car. If/when you buy a new battery, if the battery dies relatively soon. This could be caused by a bad alternator. So you might want to have your alternator tested. (The alternator recharges the battery.)
