Why cannot recognize my sim

I have an problem with my sim.... my phone say NO SIM..... when i put my SIM ... don´t happen nothing.... it is similar when dont have an SIM in

I don't do nothing with my phone.... i restore my firmware 3.1.3 more times .... and don't change nothing, WHAT CAN I DO ????? Please HELP ME.

Alright, thats strange even after a device restore, Have you removed your sim card and try re-inserting it?

Also, remove sim card, shut down phone, then pop it back in and start it up see what happens?

Finaly, when the sim card is removed check on the copper contact plates and make sure there clean and give them a good wipe down, and make sure the sim fits snug in the tray with the contacts facing toward the BACK of the phone, also while sim is ejected gently blow into the sim try hole!
