Swapping CPU between DVI Ti models

Hi

Is it possible to take the 1 GHz CPU out of a DVI Ti and swap it with the CPU in a 667 MHz?

Also other components! Such as the battery, keyboard, optical drive, PRAM Battery etc. I have a mostly working 667 MHz and a mostly working 1 GHz and want to make one fully working machine out of the two! How swappable are the various components in general?

Thanks

I'm using a 667mhz dvi PB with an 867mhz board installed. Works fine, even put in a superdrive from a 1ghz model. I'm not even sure which display I'm using. As long as they're the PowerBook G4 Titanium DVI 667mhz, 800mhz. 867mhz, or 1000mhz, REPEAT! DVI! models! Not the 667mhz VGA or the 1ghz Aluminum models, they're pretty much interchangeable. Some have a bluetooth module (1ghz), others don't. The screen resolution changes some between them, also. So, generally speaking, the parts are interchangeable, just not ALL. Do your homework.

It's not possible. However you can swap the 667 DVI with the 800 MHZ motherboard, or the 1 GHz with the 867 motherboard. You can swap battery, DVD drive and RAM memory and keyboard.
