After replacing a new digitizer, it now will not respond to touch!
Ok! I have an IPad 4th Gen Model A1458. I have replaced a broken digitizer in an iPad the prior responded to touch, but now after replacing it with a new one it now will not respond to touch! Now! Once I was removing the old glass, I inadvertently cut the digitizer ribbon to the old digitizer! This was the only thing that had occurred! Would this have caused a problem with the new digitizer such as a ground? Or is it possible the new digitizer just doesn't work?
