Incomplete Teardown Guide for Mac Mini 2014

It appears the teardown guide for the Mac Mini late 2014 is pretty incomplete. There were a few steps skipped in between the steps listed and I had a lot of difficulty figuring out what I was doing wrong. I had to find a YouTube video to resolve my issues.

I follow iFixit religiously and love everything about this site. I was a little disappointed that this was the first guide I was NOT able to follow step by step let alone the first guide I encountered that had quite a few missing steps.

Is there anything I can do to submit or edit this guide so that future users wont have such a big issue as well?

First, I think the teardown is OK.

The function of the teardown is to describe what makes up the system and highlight some of the issues one will face.

It is not intended to be a repair guide, if that is what you are expecting

With that said, I'm sure the IFIXIT teardown crew are thinking though what guides are needed as well as perfecting the steps and will publish them soon.

If you are chomping on the bit... I'm sure you could help them as well!

If you review the Teardown you'll see comments are already being posted. You can add yours on the areas you encountered issues. Adding a picture or two can also be useful the the crew so they can reference what you encountered or how you found a better way.

Thats the beauty of a open manual system!
