My internal keyboard is not working.

HI,

I had replaced my keyboard yesterday and it was not working with any OS X - back light was on etc...

I put my old keyboard in - and it is doing the same thing. I followed the instructions to a t - but still the same problem

FYI My trackpad ribbon ripped and I am getting a new one tomorrow.

You'll need to fix the ribbon cable issue first before you can go forward here. Are you sure you didn't damage the other cable.

Would the track pad ribbon cable cause this?

And I am sure as I can be... I don think so since it is exactly the same with both keyboards. it works when go into reboot 0 option - I can type my wifi password in. and move the choices (which disk) with the arrow keys it recognizes the pram reset... the back light is on ... its only when you go into the OS X whether setup or full OS X

I did clean the cable with ISO and there is no change.
