Is my battery dead or is it a board problem?

Earlier today, I accidentally spilled a cup of water on my keyboard. I disassembled it and clean it (not the battery section). My macbook works just fine now, but it would not power on with battery. I have to have an adapter plugged in for it to work. At first my mac says my battery was at 94% and i "Need to replace my battery now", now it says "No battery available." Any help would be appreciated

Answer this question I have this problem too

i removed the logic board and there was only a couple drops of water. There was a water stain on the battery chip. (the adapter). I realized i didn't plug in the adapter, but when i plugged it in, " it says 93% charged. Battery is not charging; power source: adapter; condition: replace now." Im thinking its the battery chip? (chip connected to the adapter)

It's hard to say if the battery its self is bad here. While I would start there, its also possible the charging logic on the logic board has become damaged from the spill as well. Did you fully remove the logic board? If not you will need to clean it and make sure nothing is damaged.
