When the numbers appear blurry, the fault may be the lens. The Oregon Scientific RM318PA Projection Clock is not constructed like a tradition projector where light is reflected and then projected onto another surface; rather, the beam serves as a direct light source. If the beam is functioning, try turning the focus wheel which will shift the lens and adjust the sharpness of the numbers. If this does not work, you can try cleaning the lens or replacing it if damaged.
