Feedback on battery replacement

The online instructions imply it is a very difficult task to replace the battery and can easily damage the unit. Has anybody done this successfully and do you have any tips to make it relatively foolproof?

mlevinemfp, I've replaced plenty of those batteries. The worst and toughest part is to open the case. You definitely will need a putty knife and lots of patients to crack the case. (I always have a couple of new back case available since I habitually break/bend the clips.) Once the case is separated, it's a straight forward "no big deal" task.
