I replaced my digitizer what now?

i cracked my screen, upon further investigation i also managed to crack the digitizer, bought new digitzer with glass and frame. i assembled. at first just vibrated every 20seconds or so. tore it back down to the mother board connection which was loose. clipped it in nice and tight and now i have it on the charger. for 30mins. nothing. even tried the reboot (power and down vol) and still nothing. can u advise which connection i need to recheck. i reallllly dont want to break it all down again.
