APC Back-UPS CS 500 does not power up?

Hi All,

The above device wasn't holding a charge, so I swapped out the battery, and it appeared to be fine for about a week.

Next thing I know, the "power" and "battery" lights were both on, but VERY dim indeed.

The device has now totally gone off and is unresponsive. I verified that the replacement battery isn't faulty as well.

Can anyone offer any assistance with this please? Thanks!

push the circuit breaker, check the power switch and on board fuses. if all else remain ok then power mosfet maybe busted!
