How to fuse Kindle Fire HdX 7 digitizer and LCD?

If you are stupid (like me) and buy just a digitizer & not the complete LCD/Digitizer assembly, how would you go about gluing the two together. Or would you need to? I'm not sure if I should just try to resell the digitizer screen and buy a complete assembly & what are the chances of being able to reuse the LCD if I can separate it from the broken digitizer? I didn't see that they were fused together until after my purchase. :( Thanks for any help!

Holishopper , best way of separating it is by using a LCD separator machine. Of course you can try plenty of other methods (youtube is full of suggestions) but I found that most of those damage the LCD. Once you have it separated you will need (L)OCA adhesive and some sort of curing station to adhere those parts back together. Big investment for a one time repair and it does take a lot of practice to get acceptable results. I'd go for a complete new assembly:-) Hope this helps, good luck.
