Water damage but charging light on electricity but not starting.?

I drop my phone in sink HTC ONE M7 and just for 5 sec and then i removed it immediately i switch off then i place hole phone in uncooked rice for 12 hr in sun shine and then in water heater place but in sunshine phone was restarting continuously automatically . then i disassemble the phone .

good thing is that it is charging and charging light in on when i plug the wire . what is that man . but phone is not going ON .

what are the possibility of faulty part in the phone . which is hindering the phone to switch on .

please help me

inderjot, the very first thing to do is to clean your phone. Rice and sunshine will not prevent any corrosion, nor will it clean the phone. First you want to stop using your phone, do not try to sync or charge it. This could make any damage worse. You will have to disassemble your phone and once it is disassembled, use this guide to properly clean your phone. It was written for an iPhone, but all the points are still pertinent to your phone. Check careful for corrosion damage as well as missing components etc. Once cleaned, replace your battery and re-assemble and re-evaluate. Water damage is the toughest to diagnose and toughest to repair since there are multiple parts that may have shorted out. Hope this help good luck.
