iPhone 5 is charging, but is not, but is?

So I recently replaced the part in my iPhone five including the Mic, charging port, and headphone jack because my Mic was only working on speaker phone. My Mic now works, but my phone is not charging. It definitely knows it is charging because when the screen pops up saying to charge your iPhone, the cord picture goes away when I plug it in. Also is was completely dead and suddenly is at 20% but is dying at 12% and not charging. I am on the latest update of ios. What should I do?

Hey - the charging connecter/port is a separate module, why don't you reopen it and make sure that it is seated correctly. Also is anything hot/warm to the touch. Something may be shorting.

Hello make sure you haven't knocked off any componants that are in front battery connector because I think this is what has happened when you were removing the battery..
