Why is my tablet not holding a charge?

The battery symbol displays that the battery is charging, but when disconnected from the charger the device shuts off due to the lack of battery power.

Try the following steps to fix the issue:

  • Try using a different USB cable to see if the device will take the charge.
  • If it still does not charge try changing the wall charger.
  • If it is still unable to charge, your charging port may have become loose or detached.
