How do you clean it?

The residue of the coffee beans is still in the grinder and hurting its effectiveness.

You can also put in dry white rice and grind it to a powder. Dump that, use a brush or a towel to wipe it out, and the grinder will be even cleaner and ready for something else to grind.

Use a paint brush (about 1/2 inch wide) to brush out the ground coffee, then use a damp paper towel to clean up the fine powder. This method works very well, especially if you use a soft brush. Keep the brush near the grinder and brush out the grinder after each use.

Sweep a clean dry Popsicle stick around the where the blade built up a residue a few times and get your money's worth of coffee. That's where the oily flavor is. Then dump it in the brewing basket. Use the other hints above for a final more thorough cleaning. Go for the flavor first. :)
