Why won't the slide-out keypad work?
There are keys on the slide-out keyboard that won't work no matter how hard I press them.

After some research, I believe I found the answer to my own question. The Motorola i886 Troubleshooting Page suggests that the keyboard may be damaged and need to be replaced. This can be done by following the
Motorola i886 Slide-out Keyboard Replacement Guide.
