does it run OS X in 64bits?

Is this new mac mini release supporting mac os x to run natively in 64bits?

the two previous model didn't support 64bits sadly

i own a two generation old mac mini with 4gb C2D and no you cannot run OS X snow leopard in full 64bits. the core system runs in 32bits and that's a known fact. Even apple confirms it.

the thing with the new mac mini is that there's no mention of its ability to run OS X in 64bits.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Any of the intel powered macs are 64bit capable. I've got Snow Leopard installed on my mac mini, which is now 2 generations old, and when you look at the activity monitor, it shows which processes are running as 64bit processes.

or, if you mean 64bit, as in able access more than 3GB of RAM, then yes, the new mac mini is 64bit, and supports up to 8GB of RAM.
