Won't charge after replacing Screen

I replaced the screen with an iFixit screen and it works great. My only issue is the battery won't charge now. Is there something I may have forgotten to connect when putting it back together?

Kinda lost right now.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hello it would be hard to damage this part with only a screen replacement .. But replace the dock connecter and see does that fix it .. If not then you have damaged the motherboard somehow

I also did try to replace the battery and failed when taking off the adhesive. I might have done something there? I just gave up and and put it back together. Going to try again to replace the battery and see if that works.

Thanks for the help!

This happened to me with a different version of iPhone. Long story short what happened is that I somehow broke off a very tiny jumper right next to where the battery connects to the logic board. If you have a magnifier with light, open the phone and inspect the logic board very carefully for broken/missing jumpers. You won't be able to see anything without the magnifier. If that's the case, you'll need to micro-solder to fix it.

Sorry, this is more likely the problem if a battery change doesn't fix the charging issue. Hope this helps.
