HP ProBook 4540s display backlight does not power on?

In my hp 4540s Probook laptop sometimes the screen backlight does not turn on. But pictures are there on the screen when i see it from different angles. And external monitors work fine.

This happens when,

*the display goes to sleep and come back again later, the backlight does not turn on

*starting the computer (when powering up, the backlight is already not there)

(in both the above cases pictures are there on the screen without the backlight)

When this happens, i can get the backlight by moving a magnet several times near the right speaker of the laptop (where the lid switch sensor is, as i know).

mine has a problem of displaying on screen and it started well but still black screen it has windows 8 with intel core i3, may you help me about it please.

Post your question as a 'new' question, not as an answer to an old question.

Give details such as make and model number of laptop, OS and any relevant details of what you have tried to do to solve the problem such as :

1. Whether you have connected an external monitor to see if it has a display showing.

2. Tried shining a torch at an angle close to the laptop's screen to see if you can detect the display at all (try it in a darkened room it might be easier to see as it will be faint.

By doing this hopefully you will get better answers to your problem sooner.
