Can the RAM be upgraded in a HP Chromebook 11?

The RAM in my HP Chromebook 11 is 2GB, and I was wondering whether it could be upgraded to a larger amount. I have three questions:

1. Can the RAM be upgraded?

2. What is the maximum capacity the motherboard can handle?

3. How difficult is the upgrade (if it possible)?

No. The RAM chips are soldered onto the motherboard.

It's sad, but true. The RAM is indeed soldered, unlike some other HP laptops that have one RAM inserted in one slot and another slot empty for you to upgrade or add-on an additional RAM.

Most models have alternative boards. You could order the 4 or 8 GB option and swap out the systemboard. Frank is correct that they are onboard memory.
