While doing chemistry homework when I use exponents in my problems the exponents are different from what the actually answer to be like my, like when I do 987 divided by 10^9 my answer doesn't have the correct exponents. Is there a way to fix my exponents on my calculator?

What answer do you get? make sure you use correct paraphrases location. what does 10^9 show?
