Can I upgrade the airport card?
I would like to upgrade the airport card to make use of the 5 GHz band instead of the 2,4 that's all clogged up in my neighbourhood. Any ideas ? Thanks anyway.

Your macbook has a 802.11a/b/g/n airport extreme card and "a" and "n" both have the ability to use 5GHz so this macbook should be able to connect to a 5GHz bandwidth with the stock airport card. However if you have replaced it recently with an aftermarket card, that card does not have 5GHz capability as some cheaper non OEM cards tend to not include it.
