My laptop will not boot up. What do I do?
When I power on my laptop the device will not boot up to the home screen. It will start to go but will then fail to boot up.

It is possible that the hard drive has gone bad. There is an easy check by going in to the bios. Bios may be entered by pressing F12 when the Acer screen of the boot up sequence starts. If the hard drive shows up as a device, it is still working. However, if it is not, then the hard drive is likely dead and will need replacing.
