Why is my printer not printing?

I hooked up my printer to my computer and loaded paper in it, but when I try to print it doesn't do anything. What could be the issue?

If your printer is hooked up to the computer and it has paper but still isn't printing, check to make sure the printer has ink. If the printer doesn't have ink then it won't print. If it does have ink, make sure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly by checking to ensure the cartridges and the cartridge cover are snapped in place. If the printer still doesn't print the print motor may be damaged and you will need to replace it.
