What graphics card can I put in this?

Hello.

I have a model 1,1 Mac Pro desktop, running OS X 10·7·5: and would like to replace the graphics card in it.

It currently comes with a ATY RadeonX1900: a PCIe card with 2 DVI ports: one of the cards on Apple’s own support page.

I’d like to replace or augment the machine with another graphics card: one that features a VGA port. (The ones on Apple own page all feature two DVI ports.)

Is there a card I can use: either as a replacement for the one in there, or an extra one.

Doesn't look good for you. I see no VGA out ports on any of the cards.

I think you'll have to black-box or post convert one of the signals to VGA.
