My keyboard doesn't work after replacing it?

I purchased a new upper body case from iFix it for my Macbook Pro because the keyboard got liquid spilled on it. I was able to replace it without to much difficulty and after first power up some buttons on the keyboard were not working. I took the bottom off again and checked all of the connections everything is secure, now when I power it up none of the keys work! Did I just get a defective part or did I miss something?
