Cameras not working; excessive heat

I replaced the front screen and now neither the front nor rear cameras work; I just get a black screen when opening any app that uses the camera. There is also an excessive amount of heat that comes from the area that the rear camera is located. My replacement screen came with the proximity sensor, front camera, and speaker already installed. How do I fix this?
