1 Why am I receiving a USB error?
When I plug in my Iphone 5 my music will not play, although it is charging.

Due to the fact that this device is only compatible with USB 1.0, any newer Iphones have a 2.0 USB or better. Which would cause your device to have a read error when it's plugged in, it will still charge but it cannot pull the information needed to play your music. Try finding a 1.0 USB that will still connect with your phone or simply use an AUX cord instead.
