Why won't my iPhone turn on anymore after screen replacement?

Okay, so I've repaired like 50 iPhones so far but I have a problem I can't fix now.

The iPhone looked pretty decent still. I took out the screen. Placed a new screen(camera and stuff already on it) on the iPhone and closed it again. I somehow had some problems with fitting it but after some time it did fit.

Problem: The screen only gave light. No touchscreen or display. Since I had no screen I couldn't turn the iPhone off and had to unplug and plug the battery. After this the iPhone didn't give any light anymore and I couldn't get it on. I then replaced the screen with the old one. Again, it gave light only. No display or touchscreen. I now have the NEW screen on the iPhone 5 again and it doesn't even start up anymore. Just nothing... Have got it in the charger atm for like 50 min. It's only a little bit hot.

Any suggestions?

the iPhone just powered on. I connected it to iTunes and pressed the home button down real hard and a little bit to the right (sensor). Same for the power button. I pressed the screen under the power button at the same time.

Make sure when you move the camera and home button over to the new screen that the contacts for the earpiece and homebutton line up on the phone. I had this issue and readjusted my earpiece/camera ribbon and made sure the contacts were lined up with the springs on the earpiece speaker. Also, make sure your ribbon cables have a good connection to the motherboard.

I bought a replacement screen with camera and home button attached so that can't be the problem. And checking ribbon cables is something I have done like 5 times now!

Did you give it a head reset by pressing the power and home button?
