Broken home button on iPod touch

My home button is pushed in slightly and won't go back to it normal position. It can still work if I press hard enough and in the right spot but how do I fix this? Do I need parts or can I just take it apart and pit it back in position

I would start with the disassembly - use theguide for that.

maybe there is only some dirt inside - so cleaning would be my first idea - the needed tools are listed in the guide
